Yamaha launches the first sound bar with Dolby Atmos
The new YSP-5600 bar has 44 array speakers, twelve of which are exclusively responsible for reproducing Dolby Atmos sound in motion above our heads.
Coinciding with IFA, in Berlin, Yamaha has presented the first sound bar equipped with Dolby Atmos.
For over ten years, Yamaha has been offering the perfect solution for rooms where space constraints prohibit the installation of a surround speaker setup that creates true surround sound. The YSP-1 was the company's first sound bar with this innovative technology, and now, the new YSP-5600 takes the technology to a whole new level.
The YSP-5600 is the first sound bar in the world that is capable of playing the new Dolby Atmos sound format, without the need to add additional surround sound. The ability to deliver Dolby Atmos sound in a simple format: powered by 44 array speakers within the sound bar, twelve of which are solely responsible for playing Dolby Atmos moving sound above our heads. The system is supported by two built-in subwoofers that provide a clear bass experience. And thanks to the patented IntelliBeam calibration system, it is configured according to the acoustic conditions of each room.
This bar will allow you to enjoy true surround sound without rear speakers and integrated directly into the MusicCAST network. In this way, you can access all the available content and play it in excellent quality.
