A CLAG forum will analyze the keys to the success of national fiction

Within the framework of the 9th edition of the pitching 'I+P, Ideas to produce', it will take place on October 28 in Santiago de Compostela.

Spanish Fiction is experiencing a golden age. The keys to the success of these productions and their impact on the territory will be the focus of a new edition of the strategic forums organized by the Galician Audiovisual Cluster (CLAG) and which will be held next Wednesday, October 28 in Santiago de Compostela.

Under the title Spanish fiction. Keys to success, CLAG will hold, at the Plaza Cervantes Center of Obra Social Abanca, a new debate forum with professionals from the Galician audiovisual sector, which on this occasion is part of the program of activities of the 9th edition of the pitching R&P, Ideas to produce which will take place on October 28 and 29 in the Galician capital.

In this edition of the pitching, the Clag once again has the support of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais (AGADIC) and the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (IGAPE); from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports; of the City Council of Santiago and the SGAE Foundation. The program of the ninth edition of the R&P, Ideas to produce It also has the sponsorship of Music Library, and the collaboration of the Santiago de Compostela Film Commission, the Master in Audiovisual Production and Management (MPXA) and Abanca Obra Social.

In recent years, Spanish fiction has experienced a great boom among the audience derived from the innovation of genres and themes. In this forum, we will analyze how this process is approached from executive production, and the elements that led Spanish fiction to live a truly golden age will be explained, led by Carlos Fernández, CEO of Filmax (Quotes, Red Bracelets, I know who you are….), Teresa Fernández-Valdés, productora ejecutiva de Bambú Producciones (Velvet, Bajo Sospecha, Gran Hotel..) y Zaza Ceballos, directora general de Zenit TV (Rías Baixas, O Faro, L’Alqueria Blanca).

Además se analizarán otras cuestiones de relevancia como es el impacto económico, reputacional y turístico que tienen los rodajes de series de televisión en el territorio, por parte de Piluca Querol, directora de la Andalucía Film Commission. Cerrará el foro un debate con los profesionales del audiovisual gallego sobre todas estas cuestiones, que estará moderado por Carlos Rosado, presidente de la Spain Film Commission.
