Blas Herrero entrusts Javier Pons with the launch of his new DTT channel

With a long history in the sector, Pons has held various management positions in companies such as TVE, of which he was director between 2007 and 2010.

After the Kiss Media group was awarded an SD channel on DTT, Blas Herrero has put its launch in the hands of the former director of TVE, Javier Pons.

Although the group has the experience of Kiss TV, the awarding of one of the six new channels with national coverage poses new challenges that Pons will have to face.

With a long history in the sector, Pons has held different management positions in several stations of the PRISA Group. Later, he was general director of the production company El Terrat, producing successful programs such as Buenafuente, Saved, Homozapping oUanother thing.

From 2007 to 2010 he was director of TVE, returning in 2010 to Grupo PRISA as CEO of PRISA Radio, a position he held for two years. In recent years he had been carrying out consulting work for numerous companies such as TV Azteca, GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) or Kiss Media itself.

In this new professional stage he will have the collaboration of Jaume Baró, recently appointed director of Kiss Media.
