The election took place at the 23rd Radio Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union held in Pilsen (Czech Republic).

Gabriel HerreroThe journalist Gabriel Herrero has been elected member of the EBU Radio Committee at the 23rd Radio Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union, held on May 3 and 4 in the Czech city of Pilsen.

Gabriel Herrero has a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid and began his professional career 34 years ago at Radio Nacional de España. Journalist specialized in macroeconomics, he has also worked as a correspondent in Washington between 2008 and 2010 or as head of the program Made in Spain from RNE.

The Euroradio Committee is directed by the British Graham Ellis (BBC Radio) and is considered the most important European body in the radio sector.

Its main functions include the promotion and development of actions in the field of production, exchange and distribution of content, as well as the definition and implementation of innovation strategies in the world of radio.
