Tedial Evolution significantly extends MAM functionality by providing new services such as advanced navigation and exploration and better integration between file engines and workflow to reinforce a maximum collaboration environment.

The Spanish company with a strong international projection is convinced that today's MAM has to be much more than a simple library and an associated menu of tasks. The MAM applies IT technology in broadcast and media environments, enabling multi-platform and multi-site delivery, with reporting of media processes and much more, providing international broadcasters and global media companies with state-of-the-art IT Media tools.

Built on Tedial's robust, proven and reliable MAM platform, Evolution's new HTML5-based user interface enables improved performance and a more direct relationship with the user. Being a truly multi-screen (smartphone, tablet,...) and multi-platform (iOS, Android, Windows,...) platform, operations allow users to manage tasks, validate material or monitor workflows from even a mobile device.

The new interface is fully customizable for individual preferences or work assignments, including different metadata views and display configurations, with an integrated activity monitor and unified view of files, workflows and all business processes.

New search engine

One of the important improvements that Tedial has implemented in its platform is the new search and indexing engine that has been expanded to organize searches by collections and other entities related to the object, thus facilitating the indexing of huge databases through the use of shared indexes and automated descriptive metadata based on the punctuation of the texts using stop words. The system now automatically populates user keyword entries and generates suggestions for each entry.

Evolution takes advantage of the use of relational database objects, a new set of tools that offers a service to manage group entities, a multi-level classification scheme (collections, albums, series, projects, rights, delivery packages,…) based on dynamic changes.
