V edition of Recent Cinema From Spain in Miami

The emblematic Olympia Theater in Downtown Miami will host three premieres in the United States: 'Talk', 'Tiempo Sin Aire' and 'Los Miércoles No Exist'.

From November 19 to 22, the fifth edition of the Spanish film exhibition Recent Cinema From Spain will be held. On this occasion, the emblematic Olympia Theater in Downtown Miami will host three premieres in the United States: Talking, Airless Time y Wednesdays Don't Exist. In addition, the films Requirements will be shown To Be A Normal Person, Magical Girl y Losing the North.

The exhibition is organized by the Audiovisual Producers' Rights Management Entity (EGEDA), with the special collaboration and support of the ICAA, the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts, of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

Recent Cinema From Spain has already earned a relevant space in the cultural calendar of the city of Miami. In past editions, attendees enjoyed premieres, internationally awarded films, Spanish directors and actors who presented the films and had the opportunity to participate in discussions and experienced a week with Spanish flavor and culture in the historic Olympia Theater.

On November 19, its opening Gala will be held, with a red carpet, followed by the presentation of the Premiere in the United States of Wednesdays don't exist. The film will be presented by actor William Miller (C.L.A. We are not angels, Cinco de Mayo, The Battle) who will participate in a discussion with the audience after the film, followed by a reception at the theater.

Spanish stars such as Goya-nominated Goya Toledo will attend the opening gala to present their films (Love Dogs, Chained Words), Miki Sparbé (Divendres, Barcelona Summer Night) and MiguEl Ángel Muñoz (One step forward, Without identity).
