7RM Murcia integrates Riedel's Tango intercom matrix into its new mobile unit

The Murcian regional television 7RM has acquired the new Tango matrix from Riedel.

Supplied by Crosspoint, the new intercom matrix, launched on the market just a few months ago, has been the option chosen by BGL, integrator of the project, to equip the new mobile of Murcian television, with which it will cover all types of outdoor productions, including connections for news.

This mobile unit of the Murcia channel operated by Secuoya is based on a hybrid approach since it satisfies the requirements of a DSNG but at the same time, being equipped with 6 cameras, it covers the broadcasting and realization of other types of outdoor events such as sports or magazines.

The solution delivered by Crosspoint includes some of the recent solutions developed by Riedel such as the Tango TNG-200 intercom matrix itself and the RSP-2318 smartpanel, in addition to other already known solutions such as the Performer C3 beltpacks for wired Partyline.

New generation intercom

Tango TNG-200 is Riedel's first fully-networked platform and is based on the AES67 and AVB standards. With its own dedicated intercom application, it can become a cutting-edge and flexible solution for a wide variety of communications scenarios. It offers 2 integrated digital partylines, 2 AES67 and AVB compatible ports, 2 Ethernet ports, 1 slot for options and redundant power supplies, all in an elegant 1.5 RU high, small depth and low noise design.

On the other hand, the new RSP-2318 smartpanel is a powerful multifunctional user interface that allows you to enrich the user experience and change the way different members of the production team communicate.

Among its multiple capabilities are color, high-resolution, multi-touch and sunlight-readable displays. They feature 18 keys in 1RU, premium quality stereo audio, as well as a multi-language character set. It offers AES67, AVB and AES3 connectivity over CAT/Coax, as well as an integrated power supply, 2 USB ports, 2 Ethernet connectors, GPIO, audio in/out, removable gooseneck microphone and HDMI output.
