Riedel opens an office in Madrid from where it will serve the markets of Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece
The inauguration, with an Open Day and a reception at the Linares Palace, was attended by the founder and CEO of the German company, Thomas Riedel.
With an Open Day attended by numerous professionals, Riedel It inaugurated its new office in Madrid last Thursday. Maribel Román, in charge of commercial management, and Marcos Talamonti, in engineering, will provide service to the markets of Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy from this new office.
Thanks to this opening, for whose inauguration the company's CEO, Thomas Riedel, attended, the German multinational will be closer to its clients and partners in these markets, with more personalized contact, as well as more direct and immediate technical support.
The star of the product demonstrations at this Open Day was MediorNet, the network for fiber transport of multichannel video, audio, intercom and data signals. This network allows any topology and integrates CWDM multiplexing, being able to distribute and route signals without compression in real time. Both signal processing and conversion are carried out using software on a high-capacity hardware platform for the future.
Another of the solutions that has attracted attention at this Conference has been the Riedel Smartpanel (RSP-2318), a universal panel capable of executing multiple functions between different applications.
Offering AES 67 and AVB connectivity, and optionally AES3 under CAT/coaxial, this smart panel has been developed to address communication applications including intercom, with a flexible and intuitive user interface that can accommodate multiple tasks.
In intercom, Tango TNG-200 stands out, the first fully network-based that provides network interconnection compatible with AES67 and AVB standards. This open 1.5 RU platform has 40x80 ports and intuitive control through a high-resolution front panel with anti-reflective treatment.
Those who attended this Open Day in Riedel were able to see first-hand the possibilities offered by the new contribution system for professional on-air video calls based on popular Microsoft Skype technology in its professional version (TX).
The STX-200 offers broadcast-quality HD-SDI inputs and outputs and balanced XLR audio as well as a comprehensive set of features including remote call monitoring and management.
Once the Open Day was over, Riedel organized a reception for clients and partners in the evening at the historic Linares Palace in Madrid's Plaza de Cibeles (Casa de América).
