JBL Nano Patch +

JBL Professional has debuted at NAMM 2016 a new line of monitor controllers designed to improve workflow in music recording, post-production and television broadcast control rooms.

Two models and one bundle provide the essential level and source selection controls needed in today's software-based production systems. The new drivers are ideal for JBL 3 Series Studio 3 monitors although they can be used with any studio speaker system.

The Nano Patch + serves as a volume control between the output of the production system and a pair of studio monitors. The unit features balanced XLR/TRS combo and mini TRS stereo input connectors, balanced TRS and stereo TRS outputs and a fully passive circuit for a high-quality signal path. The top panel features a large, convenient volume control for precise level adjustment and a system mute switch.

The M-Patch 2 stereo controller and switch box can be desktop or rack-mounted to provide dedicated level and switching controls for two stereo input sources. Signals are routed to two sets of A/B balanced outputs, stereo and mono. The unit features a built-in headphone output with a dedicated level control.

JBL has also launched the Active Speaker Starter Pack as the ideal complement for JBL Series 3 Studio monitors. This solution makes it easy to connect a computer audio system to a pair of powered studio monitors, providing a clean monitoring path and volume control for an efficient workflow.
