AETA Audio has just launched eScoop, a complete professional audio recorder for iPhone, iPads, Macs and PCs that provides audio recording, editing, streaming and publishing for live or delayed broadcasts. This approach allows users to record and stream simultaneously over mobile wireless networks and desktop IP-based networks as a client or a server.
Developed together with the German Technica Del Arte (TDA), eScoops supports most protocols such as SIP, Shoutcast/Icecast streaming (one-way) or two-way streaming for when a return channel is needed.
For broadcasting live material, eScoop allows pre-recorded audio to be played while it is being broadcast. With a simple editing tool it allows the user to select and work with only the audio material they want.
Available as an app for iPhone, iPad, Macs and PCs, and soon for Android, eScoop makes it easy to carry out reports and capture audio in the field for immediate broadcast working with high-quality professional codecs (MP2, AAC, AAC-HE, AAC-HEV2, G711 and G722). Additionally, it includes support for the N/ACIP standard.
