Connex Mini: the new lightweight “plug and fly” wireless link from Amimon

The new series enables live streaming of 1080p Full HD video at 60 frames per second without any signal degradation, zero latency and AES 128 encryption for secure transmission up to 500 meters.

Amimon launches a new range of wireless HD video links. The Connex Mini series, with very light and small devices, is designed for smaller and lighter drones.

It offers Full HD video quality, zero latency, high digital transmission reliability, encrypted transmission for live and sensitive shots, and multicast functionality at distances up to 500 meters.

The Connex Mini drive unit measures just 65x45x15mm and weighs just 40 grams. The receiving unit measures just 100x71x18 mm and weighs just 140 grams. Despite its small size, Connex Mini delivers 1080p Full HD video at 60 frames per second without any signal degradation, zero latency, and AES 128 encryption for secure streaming.

Connex Mini also provides control and telemetry solutions for PPM, S-bus and Canbus drone controllers, and features an HDMI video interface on the receiver.

Connex Mini's multicast functionality allows one pilot to direct and position the drone, while one operator controls all camera pan, tilt and zoom functions simultaneously and independently.

As a result, aerial shot producers can achieve an accurate shot without the fear of missing a critical shot, increasing production efficiency and saving time and money. For added convenience and ease of operation, Connex Mini is compatible with the powerful Amimon app that is available for Windows, Android and Apple laptops. The app makes this solution even easier to set up and operate anywhere, allowing users to start filming faster and achieve professional results.
