ISE 2016 registers 65,686 visitors in the most successful and long-lasting edition in its history
The ISE organizers have met the attendance expectations they had for the 2016 edition, the longest in its history, lasting four days, with 65,686 registered visitors, which represents an increase of 10.7% more than in 2015.
The first four-day exhibition of Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS), finalizada el pasado 12 de febrero, ya tiene resultados finales y oficiales: 65,686 asistentes registrados, con un aumento en 6.338 visitantes (un 10,7% más) que en la convocatoria de 2015.
Así lo ha declarado Mike Blackman, director general de Integrated Systems Events: “el volumen de tráfico asistente y su propagación durante los cuatro días del certamen confirma nuestra creencia de que el día extra era necesario y que aporta un valor añadido para los visitantes y expositores. Estoy orgulloso de decir que la respuesta ha sido muy positiva y me gustaría dar las gracias a todos los que han asistido y contribuido a este éxito”.
With the participation of 1,103 world-renowned manufacturers and service companies in the AV and integration market present in the twelve pavilions and additional spaces of the Amsterdam RAI Center, visitors have had a unique opportunity to learn about the latest products and technologies in the industry.
Coming from forty countries around the world, the media present at the event have constantly reported on the hundreds of product launches, updates and alliances announced during the four days of ISE, along with the newspaper and the launch in this edition of the organization's television channel ISEshow TV.
Those responsible for give in e InfoComm International, organizers of the event, have also shown their great satisfaction with the progress of ISE 2016 and the great interest of attendees in the expanded educational and training programs that have been launched in this edition.

Specifically, the four Theaters of the event: Residential Solutions, Commercial Solutions, Unified Communications and the one incorporated in this edition, Audio Solutions, registered more than 3,000 attendees in the more than 150 presentations and practical cases dedicated to each environment presented by manufacturers, consultants and end clients.
A highlight of this edition at the Commercial Solutions Theater have been the three sessions held by Digital Signage Summit, with the participation and collaboration of invidis consulting, Google, Onelan, Grassfish and Benetton, which also contained the most active and complete program that has occurred in the thirteen editions of the event.
Igualmente, el día previo a la apertura oficial de la exposición, la tradicional Smart Building Conference y Audio Forum registraron también récord tanto de ponentes, con representantes de Harman, CDEC, Context, Google y NEC, entre otros, como de afluencia.
Durante los cuatro días de duración de ISE 2016, los asistentes han participado también en una amplia gama de eventos, como los premios InAvate; las conferencias dedicadas a instalaciones en estadios deportivos; los foros Total Hospitality Technology y el de inversión de negocios, así como en los nuevos Drone Arena, Dolby Atmos Immersive Theatre y Audio Demo Rooms, entre otros.
Added to this are also the numerous exhibitor and visitor initiatives as part of the program called FRDY@ISE, designed by the organization to ensure that the new fourth day of the event offered a unique and rewarding experience for everyone, such as 'Meet the CEO', on February 12, an initiative to connect visitors with top executives, and between them and distributors, as well as the AV/IT business and convergence seminar.
A highlight of the last day of ISE 2016 has undoubtedly been the conference by physicist and guru Michio Kaku, who addressed more than seven hundred attendees to convey his exciting vision of a technological future where “the Internet is everywhere and nowhere, and artificial intelligence is woven into every aspect of our lives.”
Before the end of the event, exhibitor pre-reservations have already begun for the 2017 edition, which will be held from February 7 to 10, with 47,131 square meters of exhibition already sold, which represents an increase of 102% of the total space sold for the 2016 edition and 95% of the total space available for 2017, which will have a new pavilion in Amsterdam. RAI and a new venue numbering system.
