NAB 2016 will mark the first public presentation in Las Vegas of Athensa, a company resulting from the spin-off of Playbox. On this occasion they will present Naked, their new platform for unified work environments that aims to take “the user experience to another level.”
Félix Castro, R&D Director at Athensa, highlights that "Naked is the new work environment for all Athensa solutions. A modern and powerful engine allows us to integrate all Athensa solutions into a unified work environment. This will create a new user experience that will allow for quick installation, configurable presets and a faster workflow."
Its CEO, Vasil Lefterov, states that "Naked reflects both the company's vision of a simple, yet powerful and unique business model, as well as our vision of a next-generation technology designed for any broadcaster whether large or small. This is achieved by developing a unified work environment that can be easily adjusted to the needs of any broadcast and broadcast installation. From ingest to playlist preparation, graphics generation and multiple management channels, Naked helps clients focus on the task and not on the tasks. tools.”
Unified environment
AirBox 7, TitleBox 7 and CaptureBox 7 lay the foundation for the unified work environment provided by Naked. All three solutions now feature new flexible and adjustable graphical user interface that increases productivity by providing simplified processing and control. Rapid deployment and optimized usability help start a television channel in a matter of minutes, according to Athensa. Additionally, AirBox 7 natively supports 4K UHD playback at 25 and 30 fps, while TitleBox 7 offers 4K graphics.
