There are just 30 days left until the deadline for submitting works to this pioneering contest dedicated to short films entirely recorded and post-produced in 4K.

Festival Hispasat 4K

The second edition of the Hispasat 4K International Festival is already underway. A pioneering competition dedicated to short films entirely recorded and post-produced in 4K.

The deadline for receiving short films will end just one month from now, on July 3, 2016. The contest is open to works of any nationality and genre, with a maximum duration of 25 minutes, recorded and post-produced in 4K format.

This year's edition comes with important novelties, such as the Cine365 Award for Best Director, which consists of the production of a feature film. In addition, the Hispasat 4K International Festival becomes a sponsor of the San Sebastián Festival, and the awards gala will be held in September within the framework of this important cinematographic event, where the winning shorts will also be screened.

Furthermore, this year the Hispasat 4K International Festival wants to contribute its bit to sustainability and the fight against poverty and climate change, so the jury will positively value short films whose theme is related in some way to any of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, and will award at least one of the prizes, in any of its categories, to a work that deals with one of these themes from any approach, genre, treatment or aesthetic proposal.

An event designed to encourage the creation of audiovisual content with cutting-edge technology. A festival that gives viewers the opportunity to enjoy an unprecedented cinematographic experience. Cinema in its highest definition.

Registrations will be made through the platform Movibeta.
