Aragón TV migrates its continuity to high definition

Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) carries out the project based on the VSNMulticom automated continuity system.

Telefónica Audiovisual Services (TSA) has managed to win the contract for the renewal of the continuity system of Aragón TV, a channel dependent on the Aragonese Radio and Television Corporation (CARTV), with the purpose of changing the current standard definition for high definition technology.

The project awarded to the subsidiary of the Telefónica group also includes the supply, installation, configuration, and start-up of an advanced continuity service with the capacity to generate three simultaneous television signals in redundant mode: Aragón TV, Aragón TV HD, and Aragón TV Internacional.

TSA's winning proposal is based on the premise of offering a continuity solution that complements the rest of the devices that make up the installation, adopting a VSNMulticom automated continuity system. VSN, capable of integrating into the traffic environments and branding system of Aragón TV's digital production and archive, in order to guarantee a reliable and flexible multichannel broadcast in its redundancy configuration.
