Audinate releases an update to its Dante driver
Version 3.10 gives Dante network operators greater control over the systems they monitor.
Audinate has just announced the release of version 3.10 of its Dante controller, offering new options to end users and allowing them to better handle larger networks thanks to its greater channel availability. It will also allow you to take advantage of the upcoming changes that the company will make in terms of firmware.
It also allows you to manage Dante networks from laptops connected via Wi-Fi. By simply connecting a wireless access point to a Dante network, settings can be made from anywhere.
The Dante 3.10 driver supports the new device lock option found in the latest Dante devices and applications, such as the Dante Virtual Soundcard or Dante Via. This option offers remote locking of hardware and software that are using the Dante controller using a password. In this way, the Dante network is protected against accidental or unauthorized changes.
