Danmon Group will celebrate 35 years of successes in IBC

Danmon Group It will comply, coinciding with the celebration in Amsterdam of IBC 2016, its 35th anniversary. Founded in 1981, Danmon, who began his activity focusing on the Scandinavian market, is currently one of the most important international suppliers of services and solutions in the Broadcast sector.

The secret of these more than three decades of successes should be found, according to its operations director, Christofell Kay in his "glocal" approach. "We operate with a global strategy, while at the same time we are fully aware of the importance of providing local support," he says.

Danmon focuses its activity on three business areas: as a distributor with a careful selection of hardware and software solutions; as a systems integrator on any scale from a workstation based only on software to a whole complete television; and as a manufacturer and developer, whose activity channels through its Hiltron division with a wide range of products for satellite communications, NTP technology and audio processing (where it stands out with its AX32 multichannel signal processor).

Vantec is a leading Portuguese integrator of systems with more than twenty years of experience in the design and integration of virtual studies, robotic cameras, and 3D graphics in real time. For its part, Marquis contributes a great experience in workflows integration of work flow Broadcast and a half environments.

Ultra high definition projects

Danmon Group executive also ensures that ultra high definition has gone from being an aspiration to a reality. “Danmon has recently completed a multi-chamber installation for Universal Music Group. This project focused on the design of a complete UHD production system housed in Flightcases that allow the entire workflow to be rapid quickly in musical events. Danmon has also launched a UHD channel of MTG in Stock Direct, releasing already on the occasion of the River Olympic Games, ”he adds.
