Intinor will celebrate 20 years of history at IBC 2023

The swedish Intinor will attend IBC 2023 (Amsterdam, September 15 – 18) to present its latest tools for remote production, contribution and distribution at a time when it marks twenty years since its founding.

Intinor offers a unique approach to contributing quality links over the Internet, thanks to its own Bifrost transport protocol. This adaptive bitrate protocol incorporates very sophisticated algorithms for error correction and retransmission, providing highly reliable content delivery, along with a ultra low latency of less than half a second.

The platform supports joining networks and receivers to deliver higher bandwidth and greatly improved robustness. In addition, network management and monitoring is simple and direct.

The popular router series Directly from Intinor, which offers high-density encoding and decoding with up to 16 SDI I/O channels in a single 2U device, is a key piece of the company's success.

At IBC2023 a new direct link compact and portable, suitable for use in a backpack and ideal for single-camera sports and reporting work that relies on agile equipment. Designed for the multi-vendor interoperability, Direkt series now supports DVB signals, making it a solid choice for both distribution and contribution, between different companies and linking different suppliers.

What makes the new Direkt Link so powerful is that it creates a true point to point connection, in which competing devices direct the signal to the cloud and then to the receiver. In addition to reducing costs, this cuts latency ensuring the fastest possible live link.

Intinor is also compatible with open standards such as SRT, RIST and NDI, making it easy to integrate into multi-vendor systems and automated solutions. The technology includes the ability to connect intercoms for production communications, including full support for AES67 digital audio, and again seamlessly interconnect with legacy systems in the client's infrastructure.
