The board of directors of Arris has named Bruce McClelland as the company's new CEO. His predecessor, Bob Stanzione, will assume the executive presidency. Both appointments will be effective as of September 1.

Bob StanzioneStanzione has stated that "since its founding, Arris has continued to grow, going from a small company to a global leader in telecommunications and entertainment technology. With integration efforts and with the acquisition of Pace largely completed, now is the time to promote a new leader as CEO who will continue on this growth path. Bruce has played a crucial role in the growth of the company since he joined it more than 16 years ago. In his new position he will offer his leadership and strategic vision."

McClelland joined Arris in 1999 as Vice President of Engineering. Until now, he held the presidency of Global Services, overseeing the development of a diverse portfolio of network infrastructure, bandwidth and cloud solutions products.

"It is often said that companies take on the personality of their CEO, and Arris is a perfect example of this. 'Customer always first' was always Stanzione's motto, making it the company's motto as well," added McClelland.
