A year and a half after the company specializing in audio for radio and television AEQ completed its acquisition of the company Kroma Telecom with its lines of broadcast monitors and intercom systems, the Board of Directors has appointed Gustavo Robles as commercial director of the new resulting company.

Gustavo Robles is an Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master in International Trade from the San Pablo-CEU University, and to date he had been Director of International Sales at AEQ for the last five years, after his quick stint in the company's marketing department.

Under his direction, the international section of AEQ has strengthened and expanded its area of influence, currently having operations in 94 different countries, thanks to a network of 142 partners and distributors, and the work of 14 area sales managers who continuously serve the approximately more than 1,700 TV channels and 5,500 radio stations that currently operate the equipment manufactured by the company around the world. AEQ expects to conclude 2016 with a very important percentage of turnover in the international area, which in 2015 was 83% of the material manufactured.

Gustavo Robles will be in charge of supervising the integration of the new Kroma by AEQ brand of video monitors and intercom systems within the company's general catalog, as well as channeling its activities into the new distribution network resulting from the union of AEQ and Kroma.

“I feel very proud and assume the responsibility of promoting the company's activities at this important moment in its recent history, always grateful to the management of AEQ for the opportunity provided, where I hope to make the evident synergies that the two brands accumulate in the market shine brightly,” declared Gustavo Robles while taking stock of the first 18 months of union of both companies where 100% of the production of the new material Kroma by AEQ has already been integrated into the AEQ factory in Madrid. The R&D department has already begun to develop and present to the market new joint equipment such as the Conexia and Crossnet intercom systems as well as the Kview multi-screen family or the VF7007 viewfinder.
