Atresmedia Formación and IFP Grupo Planeta have joined forces to promote FP in the audiovisual sector. Patricia Pérez, corporate general director of Atresmedia, and Carlos Giménez, general director of Planeta Formación y Universidades, have signed a collaboration agreement that provides for the market launch in September 2017 of a training offer in co-branding of Higher Level Training Cycles with official qualifications in Realization of audiovisual projects and shows and Production of audiovisuals and shows.
The academic experience of iFP Grupo Planeta and the knowledge of the Atresmedia sector will allow the creation of high-quality training cycles that are fully adapted to the market. This collaboration is a clear example of the commitment of both entities to promote professional training that incorporates the experience and resources of companies into VET training programs, allowing them to be adapted to the real and current needs of the sector as well as the characteristics that the labor market expects from future professionals.
The Higher Level Training Cycles with official qualifications in Realization of audiovisual projects and shows and Production of audiovisuals and shows will consist of 2,000 teaching hours spread over 2 academic years and will be offered in a blended modality.
Students will learn in a real environment, where they will have the opportunity to do internships at the facilities of one of the large business groups that govern our screens, such as Atresmedia, with the most cutting-edge equipment and technology. They will also be able to learn from the experience of professional experts in the sector.
This will offer them practical training, a unique opportunity for inexperienced students to have their first contact with the business world. In turn, iFP-Grupo Planeta will offer its innovative vocational training methodology, with an educational model aimed at improving the employability of students. Aware that skills and language learning are key elements in preparing students for the professional world, all students will have access to complementary content on the virtual campus, where they will be able to learn English, with an online module equivalent to approximately 1,000 hours, as well as 500 hours of professional skills.
