Ten startups present their projects at Digital Hub Day

Mobile applications, virtual reality platforms or avant-garde documentaries have been some of the proposals that have been unveiled at the Speed ​​Pitching organized by Medina Media as a prelude to the 4K-UHD Summit in Seville.

A total of ten startups have presented their projects at Medina Media's Digital Speed ​​Pitching before a large panel of experts seeking financing, co-production or external collaboration.

Mobile applications, virtual reality platforms, cutting-edge health devices and documentaries have been some of the proposals that have been announced at Speed ​​Pitching. The panel of experts has been made up of experts from different companies and institutions such as Andalucía Open Future, Promálaga, Ideas con Alma, production companies such as Lavinia, Discovery, Mediapro or banks such as Santander.

The main focus of this Digital Hub Day has been the promotion of entrepreneurs and the internationalization of companies. Eva Zalve, international business consultant, has highlighted the value of marketing strategies as a differentiating element against competition in the market, encouraging Spanish startups to bet heavily on marketing plans that help companies create and take care of their image.

The Digital Hub Day also featured the intervention of José Ignacio Morales, director of 'El Cubo', an Andalusian Open Future incubation center. José Ignacio has highlighted the importance for SMEs of having quality partners that help outsource companies. Telefónica Open Future offers a very extensive international partner network to all its members with companies ranging from Brazil to Korea or China. Morales has also highlighted the 'levers' that will promote entrepreneurship: millennials and women.

During the day the book was presented 4K and UHDTV by Francisco José Espinosa, expert in Ultra High Definition and its application in the media today.

The Digital Hub Day, which also included the participation of Extenda, was held within the framework of the second edition of the 4K-UHD Summit that will begin this Thursday and where the world's leading experts in Ultra High Definition will attend.
