Mediaset España closes an agreement with Paramount to broadcast its latest releases
The audiovisual group closes the purchase of a relevant package of films, released and yet to be released, for free broadcast on its different channels.
Mediaset España has signed an agreement with Paramount Pictures for the broadcast of free-to-air premiere films. In this way, a good number of box office hits will be added to the premiere catalog of the Mediaset España channels with film productions such as Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Ninja Turtles y Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Terminator Genisys, Zoolander 2, Star Trek: Beyond, and the recently releasedJack Reacher: Never go back, starring Tom Cruise.
Other feature films licensed by Paramount for Mediaset are A life in three days; drama starring Oscar winner Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin; Project Almanac; Calle Cloverfield 10, from producer J.J. Abrams, starring John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead; Parents for unequal, a family comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg; and 13 hours: the soldiers of Benghazi, action drama directed by Michael Bay.
The agreement also includes the broadcast rights to upcoming Paramount film releases.
