Mediaset reaches an agreement with the NFL to broadcast the historic Madrid Game and Super Bowl LX
Superbowl LX and the 2025 NFL Madrid Game, a match that will give Spanish viewers the opportunity to watch a regular American league game for the first time, will be seen openly on Mediaset Spain thanks to an agreement reached between the broadcasters and the sports organization.
Through Mediaset España, it incorporates into its offer one of the most followed events on the planet and brings it closer to the Spanish public with comprehensive coverage that combines open television, through Four; digital broadcast, in Mediaset Infinity, y informative content in the spaces of ElDesmarque, which will include a specific space in the early hours of Thursdays. The agreement includes the free broadcast of the main matches of the American football competition, including the Super Bowl LX, he 2025 NFL Madrid Game and several parties of the regular season and play-offs.
From Sunday October 12 and until next January 4, Cuatro will broadcast every Sunday (2:15h) the Sunday Night Football, considered the most relevant match of each day. In addition to these 13 games of the regular seasonr, the chain will offer the 2025 NFL Madrid Game that will be played Sunday, November 16 (3:30 p.m.) at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and which will mean the first time that the NFL plays a regular season game in Spain, in which the Washington Commanders will face the Miami Dolphins.
Once the regular season is over, Cuatro will broadcast openly three meetings of the play-offs (one for each round) and, as a culmination, the Super Bowl LX, which will be held Sunday February 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara (California) and will feature the performance of Bad Bunny in the spectacle of rest. The television offer will be expanded through Mediaset Infinity, which in addition to broadcasting on simulcast all the matches offered in Cuatro, will offer an additional match every Sunday (10:00 p.m.); los three European parties scheduled in London (October 12 and 19, 3:30 p.m.) and Berlin (November 9, 3:30 p.m.); one of the parties Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27), and three other play-off games (one for each round). In total, Cuatro will broadcast 18 matches and Mediaset Infinity, 19, thus configuring the most complete coverage of the NFL free-to-air in Spain.
The broadcasts, by SuperSport, will feature some of the greatest NFL specialists in our country: José Antonio Ponseti, Iker Sagasti, and Javier Gómez, accompanied by experts Luis Jones and David 'Serpi'. Ponseti and Sagasti will be the voices of the games on Cuatro, while Sagasti and Gómez will lead the broadcasts of the Sunday games on Mediaset Infinity and the 2025 NFL Madrid Game.
