Blackmagic lanza una serie de soluciones pensadas para productores web

El mezclador ATEM Television Studio HD, el grabador HyperDeck Studio Mini y el nuevo Blackmagic Web Presenter pretenden facilitar el desarrollo de programas innovadores a la nueva generación de creadores de contenidos virtuales.

Grant Petty, CEO de Blackmagic Design, a través de una rueda de prensa virtual presentó este lunes una serie de soluciones destinadas a facilitar el desarrollo de programas innovadores a la nueva generación de creadores de contenidos virtuales.

Estas propuestas también están pensadas para el mercado broadcast, la industria audiovisual y los mercados emergentes que demandan soluciones flexibles y de bajo coste para producir en directo todo tipo de eventos.

El objetivo de Blackmagic es que estas nuevas soluciones al utilizarlas junto a plataformas tales como YouTube Live, Facebook Live o Periscope faciliten el desarrollo de programas innovadores.

ATEM Television Studio HD

Entre las novedades, destaca una interesante versión del popular mezclador ATEM Television Studio. Pensado para la producción en directo por parte de broadcasters y profesionales de la industria audiovisual, el nuevo ATEM Television Studio HD.

Incluye cuatro entradas SDI y otras cuatro HDMI, permitiendo de este modo conectar hasta ocho fuentes, y admite además cualquier formato con una resolución máxima de 1080p60. Por otra parte, ofrece un sinfín de prestaciones de alta gama, tales como la resincronización de todas las señales entrantes, lo cual brinda la posibilidad de alternar imágenes provenientes de cámaras profesionales o comunes sin ningún tipo de problemas. Asimismo, dispone de una salida para la supervisión simultánea de imágenes, lo que permite visualizar todas las señales al mismo tiempo, así como vúmetros en pantalla y asignación de fuentes.

Su panel de control integrado ofrece la posibilidad de alternar fuentes en directo. El innovador diseño se basa en el de los conversores Teranex Mini, de modo que es posible colocar el mezclador tanto en un escritorio como en un bastidor. Además, este nuevo modelo cuenta con sorprendentes funciones, tales como efectos visuales, sistema de intercomunicación, cuatro salidas principales compatibles con la modalidad n–1 para transmitir la señal de retorno a las cámaras, memoria flash para el almacenamiento de archivos, una salida auxiliar independiente y entradas XLR.

Por otro lado, esta versión incluye el programa ATEM Software Control, que permite alternar entre fuentes desde el panel virtual o el frontal, sin necesidad de utilizar un equipo informático. La amplia variedad de menús en la pantalla de cristal líquido también facilita el acceso a las mismas funciones que brinda el mezclador.

HyperDeck Studio Mini

With the new HyperDeck Studio Mini, Blackmagic aims to completely redefine the concept of a professional recorder. This compact design takes up only one-third of the space required by current HyperDeck models. It's smaller, but it has tons of features for playing clips, recording masters of a live production, or even creating digital posters.

Despite its compact size, it allows you to store ProRes images on regular memory cards and play them back in 10-bit quality.

Its features include 6G SDI technology, to offer compatibility with any standard at a maximum resolution of 2160p30, an HDMI 2.0 connection to monitor audiovisual material, two slots for storage media that allow recording without interruptions, and an output for reference signals, with an integrated sync generator that provides the opportunity to connect several units in series.

This new model can even transmit content in ProRes 4:4:4:4 RGBA format through separate outputs for the alpha channel and the main signal when processing high definition material. Not only does it have an RS-422 port and an integrated power supply, but it also allows you to use Ethernet networks to create customized solutions, with the aim of controlling it remotely, supplying electrical power or transferring files using the FTP protocol.

Since the HyperDeck Studio Mini can be operated using any ATEM line mixer, it is ideal as a source of multimedia resources for the new ATEM Television Studio HD model. But the most fascinating thing is that both devices fit in one rack unit, which allows you to take advantage of their features without taking up too much space.

Thanks to the HDMI UHD output, the sync generator, the output for reference signals, compatibility with Ethernet networks and the possibility of transferring files, the HyperDeck Studio Mini is ideal for digital signage projects. We can hide it behind a monitor placed on a wall or synchronize multiple units to create high-resolution posters. For example, with four recorders, we could obtain an 8K image.

Blackmagic Web Presenter

Grant Petty también anunció este lunes una interesante solución que permite que un equipo informático detecte fuentes SDI o HDMI como si fueran una cámara web común para transmitirlas por Internet con una calidad mucho mejor.

Aprovechando la nueva generación de plataformas que incluyen YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch.tv y Periscope, el Blackmagic Web Presenter permite usar programas tales como Open Broadcaster y XSplit Broadcaster para difundir contenidos por Internet desde cualquier lugar. Dado que el dispositivo es detectado como una cámara web, podemos usar cualquier aplicación en equipos Windows, Mac, Linux o Chromebook. Incluso es posible realizar videollamadas por Skype con una calidad de imagen excepcional, para hacer entrevistas con facilidad, aun en lugares donde la conexión a Internet no es buena.

The new Blackmagic Web Presenter includes 12G SDI and HDMI inputs supporting different definitions at a maximum resolution of 2160p60, and converts the signal to HD 720p for easy transmission. It is even capable of reducing the frame rate automatically if it detects that the bandwidth is reduced. By streaming in 720p format, we maintain high definition and a 16:9 aspect ratio, using the lowest possible transfer speed. More specifically, we've tested streaming using a mobile phone's Internet connection, and the quality is outstanding anyway.

If we install an optional smart panel for Teranex Mini converters, we will have several controls and a liquid crystal screen that not only allows us to view the images, but also check the audio volume, the signal format and the frame rate for the USB connection. But the most fascinating thing is that the HDMI input synchronizes the source, so it is possible to switch between SDI and HDMI signals directly from the front panel of the device. We can even use the high-fidelity audio input to play music and the XLR connection for the presenter's microphone.
