IABM Game Changer Awards 2017 selects Tedial's Augmented STorage (AST) in the storage category

AST, which will be presented for the first time at NAB 2017, is an innovative concept in storage virtualization systems.

Once again, the prestigious industry awards IABM Game Changer Awards have focused on the innovation of Tedial. On this occasion, the jury has shortlisted its new Augmented STorage (AST) technology in the storage category where it will compete with three other finalists.

AST, which will be presented for the first time at NAB 2017, is an innovative concept in storage virtualization systems that offers content owners a secure, reliable and economical storage system for cloud workflows and hybrid scenarios by virtualizing file locations. For those customers managing a distributed multi-site operation, AST can transparently manage the same content across multiple locations, automating task assignment and data transfer across multiple sites as needed.

The heterogeneous ecosystem handles any type of multimedia content regardless of its physical location. Its resilient and scalable “Cloud First” design allows facilities to grow according to their needs, dynamically adapt to workload peaks, and provides the highest level of security to protect content and limit access to only those authorized.

Jay Batista, Tedial's director of operations in the United States, acknowledges that "having our new AST storage solution among the four finalists in the storage category in these prestigious awards is quite an honor. We consider it a privilege to be in the company of other nominees." Tedial shares a nomination in this edition with companies such as Dell EMC, G-Technology and Quantum.
