IABM reveals the finalists for the new IABM Impact Awards 2025

IBC 2025 (September 12-15, Amsterdam) will host the IABM Impact Awards gala, new awards with which IABM seeks to recognize those professionals, projects and innovations that generate a true impact on the global broadcast ecosystem.

Evolution of the BaM Awards, this IABM initiative has attracted a “record number of applications” from across the global MediaTech community, which, according to the association, reflects “the innovation, leadership and impact that drive the advancement of the sector.” Saleha Williams, general director of IABM, states that the jury has faced “very difficult decisions, which says a lot about the quality of the applications.” “It is a privilege to recognize these extraordinary people, projects and organizations that are setting new standards of excellence,” he explained.

The awards were evaluated by a group of independent personalities of the industry. Luiz Padilha, president of the IABM Impact Awards jury, highlighted that “the quality and diversity of this year's nominations has been remarkable”, as well as that each of the finalists have presented “something truly impressive and deserve recognition for their achievements”.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony. IABM Impact Awards, which will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the IABM Impact Stage, IABM Hub, Diamond Lounge, RAI Amsterdam, during IBC 2025. Open to IABM members and the industry at large, the event will bring together members, partners, media and industry colleagues.
