IABM opens the call for the 'Engineering Student Awards'
Sponsored by the IABM Educational Foundation, these awards recognize high university performance in the fields of broadcast engineering or media technology.
IABM (International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers) has opened the application period for the IABM Engineering Student Awards, awards that recognize high university performance in the fields of broadcast engineering or media technology, and also provide financial support to the winners to attend IBC2013 next September in Amsterdam. These awards are sponsored by the IABM Educational Foundation.
Roger Crumpton, director of the IABM Educational Foundation, recognizes that "education is an important part of IABM's work supporting the broadcast and media industry around the world. The awards for engineering students reflect the IABM's commitment to recognizing their work."
Open to students from around the world undertaking a full-time course of study directly related to broadcast or media technologies, to register you must submit a 500-word essay outlining how you would benefit from attending IBC 2013.
The application submission period ends on May 31 and students can download here the application form.
