Mistika demonstrates its possibilities in the development of VR and HDR projects
In Las Vegas we can see the new Mistika Co-Pilot tool along with the recently launched Mistika VR for immersive reality and 360/Stereo 3D environments as well as the latest developments in Mistika Ultima and Mistika Insight.
Sgo is carrying out demonstrations of version 8.7 of Mistika at NAB 2017. On this occasion, the popular post-production software implements interesting tools for the development of virtual reality (VR) and high dynamic range (HDR) projects.
To facilitate work in HDR, Mistika incorporates a “fourth ball” and Unicolour technology that allows you to switch between source, working and output color spaces with support for SMPTE 2084 and Hybrid Log Gamma, among others.
On the other hand, its universal keying architecture gives colorists and composers access to the same selection tools between HSL, RGB, Logical, Spatial and the new 3D Keyer.
Another interesting improvement in the latest version is Match Paste, which allows you to intelligently copy corrections and multi-layer effects from previously designed shots onto similar or duplicate shots found elsewhere in the montage.
On the other hand, to facilitate reconforming in the event of, for example, a change in editing or mixing of RAW formats, Sgo has implemented the Auto Conform function.
The Co-Pilot Mystique
Starting from the concept of multi-dimensional workflow advocated by SGO, the Spanish company has presented at this NAB Mistika Co-Pilot, a solution that allows working outside of a Mistika Ultima system in real time. This way two artists can work on a project at the same time, thus boosting workflow efficiency.
This tool will be included in the next version of Mistika Ultima and will be free for all Sgo customers.
