The exhibition 'Mediapro Live, the live revolution', which can be seen until September 24 at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, ​​proposes to discover the human effort and the technological revolution that allows information and entertainment to be brought anywhere with total immediacy.

We experience the world live through the images that come to us of what is happening. There are apparently no distances, information and entertainment reach any place in the world at the same moment they are produced. But what is behind each image? The exhibition Mediapro Live, the live revolution It reveals to us the human effort and the technological revolution that allows us to bring information and entertainment anywhere with total immediacy. To achieve this, the exhibition, which can be seen until September 24 at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, ​​involves the visitor in an immersive and interactive visit.

Mediapro Live, the live revolutionThe exhibition will allow us to review the most iconic images of the last two decades, share with the team of The Intermediate a script meeting taking advantage of 360 technology or seeing the heartbeat of the Mediapro group through 100 touch tablets where we will review the work and figures of the most important audiovisual group in Europe. We will meet 50 people who, with their work or their vision of the world, have influenced the group's trajectory and we will discover the creativity and effort behind the hundreds of projects that Mediapro has promoted in these 24 years and which in many cases have been recognized with the most notable awards.

The illustrator Maria Corte has designed the image of the poster that represents the hearts of the Mediapro professionals who make current events beat with their work.

A tour of 9 areas

Mediapro Live, the live revolution It occupies 450 m² and is divided into 9 different areas, 7 of which occupy the second floor of the Palau Robert building.

The journey begins in space Live that takes the visitor into the reality of the world we live in with a sample of iconic images from the last 24 years. The exhibition continues in space Enter where the visitor is invited to enter, precisely, the diversity of projects in which Mediapro has worked and where with 360 glasses they will be able to see how, for example, the television series is made. Nit i Dia or what a script meeting for the program “El Intermedio” is like. You can also interact with a hundred touch tablets distributed in this space that make up a mosaic where the visitor can discover the work of the more than 5,100 professionals of the MEDIAPRO Group in a playful way.

The installation Names It is a tribute to some of the professionals and friends who have marked the group's trajectory, through a vertical split-flat. Professionals, artists, people who, with their way of being or doing, have left their mark on the Group and its projects, such as Fernando León de Aranoa, Johan Cruyff, Woody Allen, Pepe Rubianes or Paolo Sorrentino. in space Ideas A pile of papers frozen in time allows us to take a tour of the work behind each project, each idea, thanks to the mapping generated by 4 projectors. Some ideas, some projects that have had recognition in the form of numerous awards, more than 400, that the group has collected over 24 years. The main awards can also be seen at the exhibition, there will be an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA and several Goyas, to name some of the 50 awards on display.

The tour of the second floor of the Palau Robert continues with a very special interview. In space the Set, where Clara Segura, Gran Wyoming and Ram Tellem will interview whoever wants to sit in the seat.

Mediapro Mobile UnitBut the exhibition still has two more spaces: We are, which interactively shows the 150 projects that Mediapro has worked on throughout its history, and a space dedicated to virtual reality and creativity where visitors will be able to interact with the work of Miquel Barceló, and where they will be able to do virtual creation work on the dome of the United Nations hall in Geneva.

Mediapro Live, the live revolution It continues in the garden of the Palau Robert with a multi-faceted tent where visitors will immerse themselves in everything that means the broadcast to more than 160 countries of a Barça-Real Madrid, the sporting event with the most audience in the world. Through video We live football The operation of that perfect gear that allows us to bring the emotion and passion for football to any corner of the planet is reviewed.

For football or any other current event to be seen by millions of people, one last piece is missing: the Mobile Unit. A space where very few people have the possibility of regularly accessing and which Mediapro opens so that visitors to the exhibition can visit one of the largest mobile units in Europe and from where all types of television events are held.

Programming

To complete the tour, the Palau Robert and Mediapro have scheduled a series of screenings with the group's most emblematic projects. The screenings will be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at dusk in the tent installed in the garden. During the day, it will be another space for the exhibition and when it closes at 8 p.m., every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday it will host the screening of films, television series, plays and music concerts produced by Mediapro, so that it will become part of the range of activities in the city of Barcelona coinciding with the summer months.

The program begins with the movie Llach: The permanent revolt and all the plays starring Pepe Rubianes will be included, a marathon of the series The Young Pope starring the British actor Jude Law and directed by the Italian Paolo Sorrentino, the Woody Allen films produced by Mediapro, sports exhibitions or Barcelona, ​​the rose of foc, the film about the city with narrations by Pep Guardiola (Catalan version), Woody Allen (English), Benedetta Tagliabue (Italian), Olga Kurylenko (Russian), Daniel Brühl (German), Eric Abidal (French) or Rinko Kikuchi (Japanese).

You can even see films that have not yet been released in Spain, such as the Cuban film Esteban, which is receiving numerous international awards.
