The company YBVR, based in San José (California), will offer attendees the opportunity to experience first-hand its practical and spectacular advances on the behavior of fans at major sporting events. Thus, the public attending OVR17 will be able to live the same experiences that the American company presented worldwide in April in Las Vegas during the NAB Show, the largest technology fair in the world, which brought together 103,000 professionals.

The British company GymCraft will invite all OVR17 attendees to have this unique experience designed to make your imagination fly... while doing physical exercise along trails, roads and mountains or crossing rivers.

The Málaga Survival League eSports league will hold the quarterfinals of its competition on July 19 and 20 so that they can be followed live and a few meters from the players by the public attending the Observatory. For its part, the University of Malaga (UMA) will organize a “hackathon”, which can be witnessed live by the public attending OVR17. For two days, without rest (day and night), students from different disciplines, grouped in teams, will compete to offer the best solution to a challenge that a Virtual Reality multinational will pose to them.

Golf or Easter fans will also have the opportunity to experience unique sensations at OVR17. The Costa del Sol Tourist Board will present in the Demo Area of the observatory its 360-degree recordings of the 70 courses that the “Costa del Golf” has,… and of the Holy Week processions in Malaga as they have never been seen.

"The possibility of living all these sensations and experiences in one place makes the Virtual Reality Observatory a unique event. Surely many young people, who live or spend the summer on the Costa del Sol, will enjoy it accompanied by their parents and grandparents, as an end-of-year prize," says María Medina, coordinator of the Virtual Reality Observatory.

The Virtual Reality Observatory (OVR17) is organized by the production company Medina Media and it will be the first event to be held at the Malaga Digital Content Hub after its inauguration, on June 6.
