AJA Ki Pro Ultra Plus, now on sale

The multi-channel HD recorder with 4K / UHD / 2K / HD recording and playback via HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI and Fiber can now be purchased through the AJA distribution channel.

AJA Video Systems has started marketing Ki Pro Ultra Plus, its new multi-channel recorder that offers simultaneous HD recordings of 1,2,3 or 4 channels simultaneously in 1080 50/60p or Single channel mode, 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD recording and playback, with full HDMI 2.0 input and output (up to 12 bits of capture and output).

Introduced at NAB 2017, Ki Pro Ultra Plus captures videos in 4K, UltraHD and HD resolution with standard encoding including Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD MXF. This 2RU portable solution also offers extensive input and output flexibility as well as numerous connectivity options from 3G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 and fiber. Users can record four HD channels simultaneously as ProRes files, each with different compression profiles to an AJA Pak 1000 drive, or 512 or 256 SSD, with eSATA options also available. Additionally, channels can be displayed on the Ki Pro Ultra Plus's LCD screen as a grid division during capture for confident monitoring, which can also be streamed via HDMI, SDI, fiber and the device's web-based user interface.
