The new fourth generation encoder is designed for live contribution over 3G/4G networks offering a reliable video stream.

Streambox Avenir 4

Designed for live transmission over 3G/4G networks, Streambox has just launched Avenir Mini 4, the fourth generation of its cellular contribution systems.

Streambox Avenir Mini 4 Successor to the Avenir Mini 3 offers new energy-efficient mobile encoding, and incorporates new hardware and software with an updated ACT-L3 AP 2017 codec, a mobile user interface and a dual LCD interface.

Leveraging a proprietary LDMP network for reliable video transport, five built-in modems, and the capability of up to 12 modems with Streambox Signal Extender, Avenir Mini 4 delivers reliable video streaming, even in the most remote locations. High quality of the linked network, high definition streaming, lower cost of ownership and ease of use are the assets that Streambox plays with its mobile contribution equipment.

Thanks to the proprietary ACT-L3 AP 2017 codec, Avenir Mini 4 delivers Full HD video at a significantly lower bitrate than H.264. This codec comes fully integrated with the LDMP transport protocol for a multi-network link that offers superior adaptive transfer rate over lower bandwidth streaming of mobile and WiFi networks.
