Teradek renews its Prism Flex encoder with the new Mk II model
The Prism Flex Mk II updates the popular encoder Teradek improving its internal architecture and enhancing the software capabilities of the original model.
The new Prism Flex MkII de Teradek presents a redesigned chassis y improved controls on its front panel, new features aimed at achieving a more intuitive operation and improve the refrigeration of the system. Likewise, it adds the expected IFB functionality analog audio, allowing communication talkback fluid between devices through Teradek Core Cloud, while ensuring intercommunication with other devices Prism.
Aside from these new features, Prism Flex Mk II offers the same live streaming capabilities than the rest of the Prism line: from live video contribution and remote production, to post-production workflows. Users will still be able to upload recordings directly to major cloud-to-camera platforms such as Frame.io y Sony C3P, while exploring orchestrated video distribution across the platform Core Cloud the Teradek.
Other notable new features of the Prism Flex Mk II are its screen OLED with D-Pad front buttons; transport protocol integration Teradek TRT ultra-low latency (only 100 ms on Wan); the ability to encode and decode simultaneously with the optional license “Decode”, and support for a wide range of protocols such as SRT, TRT, MPEG-TS, RIST, RTMP, RTSP, HLS y DASH.
