Avid - TV Midwest - MediaCentral Flex

MediaCentral Flex will define the future of Danish regional television TV Midwest, which begins a new stage of its strategic relationship with Avid.

The update of TV Midwest to subscription Avid MediaCentral | Flex includes licenses for the production platform MediaCentral and editing software Media Composer Enterprise, as well as the shared storage platform Avid Nexus. The Flex subscription also provides TV Midtvest production teams with access to a number of other products, such as MediaCentral | Collaborate, which empowers teams with a collaborative, story-focused workflow. On the other hand, at MediaCentral, the services of IA/ML, such as speech-to-text, will help reporters find mentions of a particular keyword or topic in your video clips.

On the other hand, the head of production at TV Midtvest, Carsten Jensen, states that this agreement is the result of “satisfaction” with its long relationship with Avid.
