Movistar Plus+ and DAZN extend their alliance, consolidating the platform as an aggregator of the VOD model

DAZN LaLiga - Movistar Plus+

After signing agreements with Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, SkyShowtime and Warner Bros. Discovery, Movistar Plus+ has reissued its alliance with DAZN to continue offering OTT sports content in the television model of Telefónica.

Thanks to this agreement, customers MiMovistar Premium and those who already had the content Formula 1 en su oferta podrán seguir accediendo a la experiencia completa de DAZN a través de la App de DAZN, o a los contenidos disponibles en los canales DAZN LaLiga (dial 55), LALIGA 2 (dial 58), DAZN F1 (dial 69), DAZN 1 (dial 70) y DAZN 2 (dial 71), y otros canales multievento que se irán incorporando para dar cobertura a todas las competiciones.

Entre las competiciones más destacadas que ofrece DAZN se encuentra la mitad de la jornada de LaLiga EA SPORTS (excepto tres jornadas reservadas en exclusiva para LALIGA TV por M+), Premier League, los Mundiales de Formula 1 y MotoGP, UEFA Women’s Champions League y Liga F, el circuito WTA o la Coppa Italia.

Cristina Burzako, CEO of Movistar Plus+, considers that this renewal represents the “guarantee” so that customers of the television service “can continue enjoying sport with an integrated experience, accessible from anywhere, on all their devices and of course with an infinite stadium of competitions.”

On the other hand, Bosco Arangure, general director of DAZN Spain recently interviewed in Panorama Audiovisual, considers that this renewal “reinforces our commitment to facilitating access to the largest number of fans around the world.”
