A mixture of science fiction aimed at adults and a reality with the feeling of loss as a constant, part of an unusual event: Andrés Vargas is a police inspector who dies chasing the Midnight Butcher, a psychopath who has already killed five women. Vargas will have the opportunity to return to life, but five years later and in the body of Manuel Márquez, another police agent.
five years ago
Andrés Vargas (Roberto Álamo) was a 45-year-old police inspector, self-made, hardened in the streets, who always sought to do the right thing. Impulsive, ironic, man of action, he was a police officer with innate talent and a history full of decorations.
Married to Laura (Cristina Plazas) for more than 20 years. Andrés couldn't conceive a life without her. Laura was their safe place and the axis around which the entire family revolved.
They had two daughters: Susana (Anna Castillo), 19 years old, temperamental, rebellious, restless; and Bea (Lucía Caraballo), her young daughter, responsible, intelligent and creative.
But everything breaks when Andrés dies chasing the Midnight Butcher (Mom Ceballos)
Now
Andrés returns to the world of the living after 5 years. Embodied in the body of Manuel Márquez (Javier Gutiérrez), another police inspector, he will discover that his new co-worker is his daughter Susana (Anna Castillo). The teenager has become a passionate woman who strives to do her job well as a law enforcement officer.
When Susana introduces him to her mother, Andrés finds in Laura (Cristina Plazas) a tired, changed woman, but in her eyes she still maintains that spark of vitality that made him fall in love. He also reunites with Arturo (Zorion Eguileor), his father and former police commissioner. Now the old man lives with his daughter-in-law and granddaughters, maintaining an active role in the family.
At the police station where Andrés returns in Márquez's body, Susana is not the only surprise he encounters. His best friend and patrol partner, Oscar Santos (Fele Martínez), has been appointed commissioner; Sebastián Rey (Jesús Castejón), one of the police force's most brilliant helicopter pilots, now runs a bar; and the coroner María (Goizalde Núñez) complete the staff. Along with them, David Aranda (Alfonso Bassave) is the chief inspector who leads with a strong hand. Irascible, certain that everyone is guilty until proven otherwise; He is also the best at getting statements from suspects.
