Mediapro will manage the International Broadcast Center during the Pope's visit to Colombia
The IBC will be in charge of receiving, editing, managing and disseminating the information and audiovisual content generated from the live events of Pope Francis' visit to Colombia.
Mediapro will be in charge of managing the IBC (International Broadcast Center) through its headquarters in Colombia on the occasion of the first official visit of Pope Francis to this country from September 6 to 10. The International Signal Transmission Center will be located in the city of Bogotá and will be enabled to offer all its services. There will also be the International Media Center for all accredited media representatives from Wednesday, September 6 to Sunday, September 10 at the Tequendama Hotel headquarters.
The IBC will be in charge of receiving, editing, managing and disseminating the information and audiovisual content generated from the live events of Pope Francis' visit to Colombia. The contents broadcast through the multi-destination signal will be introduced directly from those generated and delivered by those responsible for official production in each of the cities (Bogotá, Villavicencio, Medellín and Cartagena).
To do this, the IBC will have the appropriate structure, technical production and team of professionals so that the contents correctly reach the master of the multi-destination signal and subsequently to the various distribution channels.
All the material generated live, edited and pre-recorded will finally be delivered to the public on the multi-destination signal by satellite and online via streaming.
