The programs from 'Viceland', Eddy Moretti and Spike Jonze's channel, arrive in Spain

Starting in November, Odisea will include a slot of prime time programming from Monday to Friday with original content from Viceland with series such as 'Gaycation', 'F*ck That's Delicious' or 'Vice World of Sports'.

After its launch in the United States, where it enjoys critical and public recognition, the contents of Viceland, the project promoted by producer Eddy Moretti and Oscar-winning screenwriter and director Spike Jonze (Her, Being John Malkovich...), now arrives in Spain.

The documentary channel Odisea will exclusively premiere Viceland's acclaimed content in a new programming slot following an agreement signed between AMC Networks International Iberia, the largest producer of thematic channels in Spain and Portugal, and Vice Media, a world leader in the creation of content for young people.

From Monday to Friday from 10:30 p.m., and starting in November 2017, the channel specialized in the documentary genre will exclusively feature original content from VICELAND. Odisea, available in more than 6 million homes in Spain, continues to expand its offering and opt for risky, quality productions.

Since its launch in February 2016, Viceland's own production has revolutionized journalism globally, covering various topics such as culture, crime, music, travel, sports, food and technology.

Among the premieres coming to Odisea are acclaimed original content presented by actors who have achieved international fame, such as Gaycation, a production nominated for two Emmy Awards and presented by Ellen Page, in which the situation of the LGBT community around the world is the protagonist, or Black Market, the most personal program by actor Michael K Williams in which he delves into the dangerous world of illegal trade.

In addition, the channel will also broadcast Viceland productions such as F*ck, That’s Delicious, the gastronomic journey of rapper Action Bronson, or Vice World of Sports, in which the world of competition is analyzed from a different perspective.

A new vision

This exclusive programming will be available on all pay operators where Odisea is distributed: Movistar+, Vodafone TV, Orange TV, Euskaltel, Telecable, R and local cable.
