The vice president of telecommunications of the Mexican group Televisa, Adolfo Lagos, was murdered this Sunday while riding a bicycle on the road that leads to the Pyramids of Teotihuacán in the State of Mexico. According to the first investigations by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico, three people came out of some bushes to approach him and steal his bicycle. The gunmen shot Adolfo Lagos, who was wounded and taken to a hospital in the municipality of Coacalco, state of Mexico, where he later died.

The Televisa director was accompanied by another man and his bodyguard who, according to some Mexican newspapers, wounded one of the attackers although he managed to escape.
