Eutelsat appoints Juan Pablo Cofino regional vice president and general director in the Americas

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Cofino joins Eutelsat from Intelsat where he was regional vice president, LATAM and Caribbean.

Eutelsat Communications has appointed Juan Pablo Cofino as regional vice president and general director of Eutelsat Americas.

Cofino joins Eutelsat from Intelsat where he was regional vice president, LATAM and Caribbean. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Eutelsat, having previously held international senior executive positions at companies in the Americas region, including ATN International, Tigo (Millicom Group) and Agreca (Grupo Progreso).

Depending directly on Philippe Oliva, general commercial director of Eutelsat, Juan Pablo Cofino will lead the Eutelsat teams in the Americas and lead the forces
sales of the company in the region. He replaces Mike Antonovich in this role, who has decided to continue his professional career outside the Group.

A Guatemalan citizen, Cofino has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in Business Administration from
the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
