On Friday 15, the director of photography of films such as ‘Mom’, ‘The last gentlemen’ or ‘Pa Negre’, teaches a talk about the evolution of technology and its influence on current lighting equipment

On December 15 and 16, Moncada and Lorenzo Participate in the first edition of the Microsalon AEC Spain 2017, organized by the Spanish Association of Photography Directors (AEC) at the film and audiovisual school of the Community of Madrid (ECAM), and of which the company is a protective member.

With a series of solutions from its range of film products, Moncada will present the latest news of Canon, Litepanels, Teradek, LiteGear, ProSup, Cineo, Sachtler or Chros target, among others.

The New Canon C200, the Teradek Serv Pro, the Standard 410 cine Plate solutions and Follow Focus de Chrosziel for film cameras.

Together with its LCA partners (located in Stand 16), Moncada will complement its proposal with a large number of LED lighting equipment of liter, Chroma q or quasar Science, among others.

Antonio Riestra

Moncada and Lorenzo will have the presence in the micro hall of Antonio Riestra, Director of Photography of the ASC and ACK (associations of photography directors of America and the Czech Republic respectively) that will teach a talk on Friday 15 from 10.40 in the morning in the ECAM projection room.

In it, the cinematographer will talk about the evolution of technology and its influence on current lighting teams, to the point of being able to create almost anything with them. In a 30 -minute exhibition, Riestra will deal with issues such as effects, combinations of light or currents, and simulate various situations relying on LED luminaires from the manufacturer Litepanels.

Riestra has been director of films photography such as Mother, The last gentlemen or Black pa, the latter of the Spanish director Agustí Villaronga and that earned him a Goya award for the best photography address in 2011.

Riestra has more than 30 titles such as DOP and Chamber Operator that have assumed several nominations in countries such as Canada or the Czech Republic. With life and work on horseback between Prague and Los Angeles, he is currently in Spain shooting his next film.
