Rodrigo Sorogoyen's goal will be to turn the short into a feature film that could begin filming at the end of the year.

Madre, of Rodrigo Sorogoyen, played by Marta Nieto, Blanca Apilane and Álvaro Balas, won the Goya for best Fiction Short Film. This was the cherry on top of an excellent tour of this production through numerous festivals, in which has won more than 60 awards.

After debuting in the feature film at the age of 25 con 8 others and sign with Stockholm one of the breakthrough films of 2013, reached six Goya nominations for May God forgive us, including Best Picture, Best Direction and Best Original Screenplay. Recently, he has filmed with Antonio de la Torre, Bárbara Lennie and José María Pou The Kingdom. He has also worked on television in series such as Eva's fish tank e Odd.

The reason for his return to short films is that both he and Isabel Peña, the screenwriter he usually works with, were a little saturated with big films and wanted to go back to the “small” thing.
