The new Sony Venice arrives in Spain from Ceproma

The new Sony Venice, the catalog's revelation camera Kind of Sony, arrives in Spain with the help of Ceproma, one of the main distributors of film, video and television equipment in the Peninsula.

The Sony Venice enters the market for next-generation digital cinema cameras and is presented on the market in line with Sony's Cinealta philosophy, whose objectives are “unlimited creative possibility” and the “tireless pursuit of technological perfection.”

Thanks to its characteristics and potential, it competes to establish itself as a reference device, designed to satisfy the image and workflow needs of the current film industry.

Presentations in Barcelona and Madrid

Para la llegada a España, Ceproma en colaboración Sony Europe han preparado dos eventos de presentación en los que los asistentes no solo podrán conocer la cámara directamente de la mano de expertos DOP que ya han tenido ocasión de rodar con ella, sino lo asistentes también tendrán ocasión de probarla, testearla, y rodar con ella en un set creado ad hoc para los eventos.

El primer evento tendrá lugar en Barcelona, el miércoles 7 marzo, en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra. Contará con la participación de Juan Fernández, AEC Cinematographer, DOP de ocho largometrajes estrenados en Sitges entre los cuales destacan Nocturnia, Arkadia, Leaving Hotel Romantic, The Afterglow y The Forsaken.

El segundo evento será en Madrid el 15 de marzo en las instalaciones de Ceproma, y contará con la participación de Rafa Roche (AEC). Entre sus trabajos como director de fotografía destacan En las Estrellas de Zoe Berriatua (en postproducción), Naciente, Escúchame, Chicas Nuevas 24 Horas de Mabel Lozano y como DIT ha ha participado en Ma ma, de Julio Medemn y The Olive Tree de Iziar Bollain, entre otros.
