The new NewTek NC1 I/O IP is designed for broadcasters to simplify their infrastructure by using high-speed networks to move video and audio throughout their facilities, constituting a clear path towards fully virtualized production.

NewTek NC1 Studio I/O IP Module

Among the novelties that NewTek will exhibit in NAB 2018 highlights the new NC1 Studio I/O IP module, which will add support SMPTE ST 2110 to NewTek IP Series and TriCaster TC1, its 44- and 16-input software-driven live production system designed as IP-native with 4K 60P.

The NC1 I/O IP is designed for broadcasters who want simplify your infrastructure through the use of high-speed networks, being able to move video and audio through your facilities, while providing access to existing Ethernet networks. This represents a clear path towards fully virtualized production.

El NC1 IP will be displayed as part of the IP Showcase zone which will demonstrate the interoperability capabilities of the SMPTE ST 2110 standard at NAB Central Hall Booth C12634 April 9-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

This module has 4 channels that can be configured for input or output of SMPTE ST 2110 video sources. Each channel can be configured independently for resolutions up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. The NC1 I/O IP will interoperate with systems and devices over a network for switching, transmission, display and delivery. Modules can be stacked in a single location or deployed strategically across multiple locations to meet the demands of any production.
