The Panorama Awards will be the first in Spain to have an internal production in 4K

To carry out the Panorama Awards ceremony in-house, Power AV will deploy a 4K robotic camera and several Panasonic AK-UC3000 4K studio cameras equipped with Fujinon optics and a Blackmagic ATEM mixer.

On the occasion of the delivery of the Panorama Awards, which will take place next Tuesday, May 8 at the Madrid Fashion Week (IFEMA, Pavilion 14), Power OFF will display a closed-circuit production of the ceremony in Ultra High Definition 4K.

For the first time, an awards ceremony in Spain will have an internal 4K signal. To do this, a 4K robotic camera will be used (Panasonic AW-UE70 with 1/2.3″ 4K HDR MOS sensor, 20x optical zoom and 22x iA in 4K and OIS stabilizer) along with several Panasonic AK-UC3000 studio cameras.

In addition to functions such as DRS and CineGamma, the AK-UC3000 series incorporates tools designed to facilitate Ultra High Definition productions such as focusing assistance, flash band compensation and distortion reduction, which is achieved through high-speed scans from the MOS sensor. Additionally, for environments with complex lighting conditions such as this, these cameras feature improved stepless gain (-6 to 36 dB), a user gamma function, black gamma correction based on pedestal adjustment, multi-step digital noise reduction, and easy matrix adjustment.

In combination with the AK-UCU500 camera control unit and optics Fujinon 4K (13×4.5 and 22×8) will allow you to capture everything that happens during the Panorama award ceremony.

For the production, the Power AV production team will have a 4K ATEM Television Studio mixer from Blackmagic Design, with 8 12G SDI inputs, format conversion, Fairlight quality audio and the possibility of making creative transitions and chroma compositions, organizing content, superimposing layers and viewing multiple images simultaneously, among other functions.

In addition, this mixer saves on equipment by allowing you to monitor all sources on a single SDI monitor or HDMI television.
