Central Television of China (CCTV) installs a total of 15 Eclipse HX omega racks, 20 Eclipse HX Pico racks, more than 200 V-Series intercom panels and 10 sets of Beltpack Wireless Beltpack FreeSpeak II of Clear-Com.
Central Television of China (CCTV) has updated its digital intercom system Clear-Com and has replaced third -party inherited systems to launch an IP -based communications infrastructure that allows BroadCaster to depend less on traditional architecture based on copper cables, while expanding the scope and capacities of its current waner and wireless systems.
This update gathers 15 Eclipse HX Omega racks, 20 Eclipse HX Pico racks, more than 200 intercom panels V-Series and 10 sets of wireless Beltpack systems FreeSpeak II in a network with four existing Eclipse racks, 146 V-Series and 25 Beltpacks FreeSpeak II panels. The hybrid solution resulting from IP, wireless and traditional components is one of the largest in the world, reflecting the growing needs of distributed communication CCTV through its many sites.
The evolution of the CCTV communication system from the traditional digital intercommunicators of 4 wires and shared line, mainly under study, to a system distributed with a variety of IP elements that improve the initial abilities in alignment with the growing needs of immediacy and flexibility, has closely followed the Clear-COM Development path from its initial deployment six years ago.
Xue Zhixing, Deputy Chief of the General Control Department of the CCTV Dissemination Center, highlights that “television production increasing one more time".
The implementation of the IVC-32 card of Clear-COM for the Eclipse digital matrix system, the Agent-IC licenses and the free smart devices applications now allows CCTV to communicate more conveniently and effectively with the equipment, either in the study or anywhere where Internet connectivity is available.
Lifu Zhao, an engineer at Century Sage Scientific (CSS) Group, Clear-Com Comp, points out that “in addition to satisfying the CCTV needs of a traditional intercom, Clear-COMA also provides them with a substantial and effective system structure that is stable and reliable. The Clear-Comment system gives CCTV a unified software platform, so that everyone can obtain The functions they need in a system, instead of having to use multiple systems as they were forced to do before. ”
The new system also connects to the new global television network in China (CGTN) and several locations abroad. The improved system has been used successfully for the coverage of the 90th anniversary parade of the Popular Liberation Army (EPL) in the Zhurihe training base in Interior Mongolia, and the transmission of the 2017 National Summit in Xiamen, a Conference of International Relations to which the heads of the five Member States attended: Brazil, Russia, India, India, China and South Africa.
