Sony once again equips Atresmedia with 4K technology for the production of various programs
The communications group has acquired 18 Sony HDC-1700 cameras to produce 4K content, as well as 32 units of the new HDCU-3100 camera control model.
Atresmedia has acquired 18 cameras Sony of the model HDC-1700 to produce 4K content, as well as 32 units of the new camera control model HDCU-3100 for the production of their television programs.
This new equipment will be used in the production of programs such as The Objective, with Ana Pastor; and The Voice, whose franchise has just been recently acquired to broadcast starting next season.
Hector Sierra, Sales Manager of Sony Europe, highly values this new commercial agreement and the trust placed by Atresmedia in the performance and quality of Sony equipment. Furthermore, he highlights that “to generate a positive impact on the viewer, excellent image quality is a necessary condition as important as the nature of the content broadcast.”
Atresmedia, which already had 50 Sony high-definition studio cameras, expands the list of high-end production systems produced by Sony with the aim of maintaining its commitment to quality and audiovisual innovation.
Power HAD FX technology
The HDC-1700 It belongs to the highest range of Sony studio cameras. It has three 2/3” Full HD CCD sensors of technology Power HAD FX of the latest generation, achieving great sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio, allowing Atresmedia to produce 4K content in the future.
In addition, this model allows you to work in 1080/50i and, through software licenses that can be temporary or permanent, in 1080/50p or 1080/25p, which allows you to produce high-quality images.
On the other hand, the HDCU-3100, the new camera control unit presented at the latest edition of NAB in Las Vegas, supports High Definition and Standard Definition, and can even offer Ultra High Definition (UHD) output through the optional HKCU-UHD30 board. The HDCU-3100 will allow UHD work in QFHD (4x 3G-SDI), in 12G-SDI and even in IP supporting the ST-2110 standard.
The agreement between Sony and Atresmedia has been completed with an order that includes the following equipment: 18 cameras HDC-1700, 18 7” OLED displays HDVF-EL75, 8 LCD eyepieces HDVF-L10, 32 camera control units HDCU-3100 and 24 remote control panels RCP-1500, among other accessories.
Through this new acquisition, Atresmedia will have nearly 70 high-definition Sony cameras for the production of its programs.
