Dejero launches the most powerful EnGo mobile link to date

Dejero will present at IBC 2018 its most powerful version of EnGo mobile link designed to give broadcasters an image quality advantage, especially when capturing fast-moving news and sports content.

Broadcasters will benefit from the increased processing power of the EnGo transmitter and the improved implementation of the HEVC compression standard. Combined with Dejero's industry-leading adaptive bitrate encoding and self-carrying technology, this results in higher image quality over a wider range of bitrates.

The additional processing power has paved the way for a new dynamic content adaptation feature that intelligently adjusts the encoding process based on the amount of motion detected in the content being captured. This allows broadcasters to automatically and seamlessly transition from a limited motion talking head shot to high motion content without image softening or introducing compression artifacts.

The new and improved Dejero EnGo can cModify up to 20 Mb/s and now supports 1080p 50/60 to deliver the highest quality images, ideal features for broadcasters covering sports and other high-motion events.
