Dejero NAB 2023

Dejero will show at NAB 2024 compact mobile Internet connectivity solutions for live video and data transport from anywhere such as the EnGo 3x transmitter with GateWay mode and the new compact GateWay 3220 network aggregation device.

The wireless broadband Internet connectivity offered by GateWay mode increases the capacity of applications with large volume of data, such as writing systems or editing tools; Creates larger coverage areas and improves reliability thanks to the diversity of connections. It also supports operating over virtual private networks (VPN) for secure access to an organization's networks.

Matt Scully, director of product management at Dejero, comments that “when a large file is uploaded or downloaded in the newsroom or post-production facility, and the connection is cut before it is complete, it usually has to be done again.”

"Or, if your team is in a remote location with limited connectivity, they would have to travel to another area to find the reception they need or search for Wi-Fi, taking time away from their tasks. Without network connectivity, remote collaboration is incredibly difficult, causing overall production delays. When you're racing against the clock, every second counts."

With EnGo 3x with GateWay mode, remote teams can broadcast breaking news, transfer files quickly to prepare and load packages in the field and configure access points High bandwidth for multiple devices. For film, television and commercial production, teams can take advantage of a reliable and ultra-fast connection to enable real-time collaboration with dispersed teams and accelerate the delivery of content from set directly to post-production, regardless of location, thereby reducing the number of people needed on set and unlocking huge cost savings.

The EnGo 3x native 5G mobile transmitter with multi-camera support for up to four HD sources fully synchronized, incorporates the latest version of Dejero Smart Blending Technology, which combines all available network (broadband/fiber) and wireless (3G/4G/5G and satellite) connections from multiple providers. An improved algorithm makes the connection even more stable, at all latency settings, so users can now stream high-quality live video with glass-to-glass latency as low as 0.5 seconds over bonded cellular connections.

If cloud-based management system is used I let go of control, EnGo units in the field can be geolocated and remotely controlled so users can preview incoming feeds, and route and distribute content. Operators can easily monitor usage and performance, set up email notifications about activity, and generate detailed reports from any web browser.

Dejero will also showcase the new GateWay 3220, a new rugged and compact network aggregation device powered by Dell Technologies, which integrates Dejero Smart Blending Technology to provide unmatched reliability for the mission critical mobile connectivity. Providing rugged connectivity to the Internet, cloud applications and private networks, the rugged, fanless chassis is ideal for installation in vehicles and portable kits and is specifically designed and manufactured to deliver optimal combined connectivity at the far edge of a network.

“Whether you're looking to produce more news for your traditional and digital platforms, enable your teams to do additional research for a story while they're in the field, or remotely deliver your edited packages, having access to reliable and resilient internet is vital,” concludes Scully.
